I'm a slightly eccentric, down-to-earth, sensitive kind of people person! I work in local government as a specialist advisor in historic buildings. This was a change of career following my divorce. I have 2 grown up children who have both left home. I'm interested in a wide range of things but I'm not a very sporty person, although I like swimming and tennis and watching other sports. I like to travel, visit historic places, meals out, picnics, read all sorts, go to the theatre, concerts and the cinema and more. I'm willing to try most things. I'm easy going but I really HATE smokers!!

I'm looking for someone to go out and about with who has similar interests. They should be reasonably similar in age and live in my area. No point if we have to travel a long way just to meet up! I'm looking for someone honest and trustworthy as I was seriously let down in the past, so sensitivity, kindness and generosity of spirit are important to me.
