I am a very artistic, creative person who has a great love of nature and many varied interests. I love walking/rambling with my dog, camping and photography in nature. My creative talents include weaving, pottery, decor, gardening, and various other crafts. I also enjoy visiting or have an interest in museums, art galleries, all kinds of artistic/creative mediums, architecture, interior design, theatre, concerts, some opera, festivals. My musical tastes are very broad so it might be easier to list my dislikes - modern/abstract classical and jazz music, some dance music like heavy techno/d&b. Like car boot sales, antiques, junk/charity shops, some retail therapy. Love travelling anywhere, here or abroad, being on the move but also need a home as my sanctuary. Enjoy singing and am part of a choir hobby group. If the music is right I love to dance. I enjoy going out for meals (love good cooking, fast food yuck!) and home cooking. I enjoy the occasional nightlife experience but as I'm not much of a drinker the pub/wine bar would not be my first choice unless there was a gig of some kind going on or was meeting up with friends. I am a fun loving and sociable person with a reasonably good sense of humour. I am most content and at ease in nature, at home or in the garden. Ideally would love to live near water of any kind and my home would need to be within reasonable access to nature and a garden. Although I am not religious, spirituality is important to me and so I take an interest to inquire, debate/discuss, read about all kinds of associated topics. I aspire to have an inquiring, unbiased mind and am open to viewing the world about me along more unconventional and experimental lines. I take an interest in what is going on in the world and its peoples, the environment, human rights/freedoms, etc.and aim to contribute in a positive way for the betterment of mankind/the world (I teach weaving to young adults with learning difficulties). I can be either quiet, reserved and observant or exuberant, passionate and intense. I am fairly independent and need some space. I am loving, faithful, loyal, affectionate, considerate, I can also be bossy, determined, intense, honest. Although I can be sensitive I am open to criticism and would be willing to make an effort to adjust/compromise if reasonable.

I am looking for a broadminded, cosmopolitan man who wants a permanent committed and very loving (in the true sense of the world) relationship. I would like to be able to share and experience my interests with someone like minded. I would like someone to share a sense of adventure and lots of fun with a positive outlook on life who appreciates lots of variety in their life. A must would be a love for nature, travel, music, art and open minded debate/discussion. You would have to show compassion for people and actively try to see and promote the best in them. Be your own man and not want someone for constant reassurance and attendance.
