No baggage and at peace with this life.

I hold my years well and am single. Have spent my adult life as a Soldier then security consultant. Mostly in Africa and the Far East. Returned from California a year ago due to cancer and the cost of medical treatment there. It looks like I have beaten it and so, retired and with a love of travel, good food and wine, wise conversation and life in general, I would like to meet a Lady friend. P.S. I've come back to add some more. So what am I really like? Well I often see the funny side of things, I'm not moody. I am honest (my integrity being very important, although I wear it easily). By that I mean I don't think about it, I just am. I am not too judgemental a person although I am a people watcher. Mostly I like people, except of course the real bad ones. The years have made me a pacifist and a much better man than when I was a youngster. Sometimes I wonder where all those years went as I definitely feel a lot younger than my birthdate. Lastly and most importantly of all I like myself. I like the type of Man I turned out to be. And they do say, that if you dont like yourself, then you're no good to anyone else..............

Not looking for sex or a Wife. I would like to meet someone who is bright and funny with the same interests as me. I am looking for a friend. That simple...........
