I’m a fairly easygoing guy & like to think I don’t take myself too seriously. I believe it’s better to laugh than cry (something which occasionally gets me in trouble). I work with centrifugal pumps and am on my way to becoming a chartered engineer. Not everybody’s idea of excitement, but I enjoy it. I ‘m a (fairly) keen runner (just done Nottm half marathon) and enjoy a session in the gym whenever I can. I hope to be able to play a couple of games of Rugby too when the season begins. At the weekend I enjoy getting out around Nottm & Leic with friends for few drinks, but am also happy staying in and chilling out with a good book or DVD (hey marathon training is tiring). I love going to the theatre and I am particularly fond of Shakespeare. I like eating out & enjoy a variety of different foods, but find my favourite is the Sunday carvery in Bunny. I haven’t done much travelling, but it’s something I’d like to pick up on (hope to go running with the bulls next year). Last book I read was a H.P. Lovecraft story, but I think my all time favourite has to be “Shogun” by James Clavell. Last DVD watched was “The Last Samurai”.

Ideally I’d like to meet someone who is easygoing and confident; who is equally happy on a night out around town, going to the theatre and having a romantic meal or curling up on the sofa with a DVD and glass of wine. Oh and they must like cats…..I have three (it’s a long story)…
